Employees at Paramount Equity Mortgage Host a Spring Event at Shriners Hospital for Children 
A hopping good time was had by all at Shriners Hospital for Children – Northern California.  As a special Easter surprise, 27 employees from Mortgage Operations at Paramount Equity Mortgage held a “Build a Bunny” party for Shriners patients and their families.  The Spring Event took place Wednesday April 1st in the hospitals central activity area.  Festivities included a Build a Bear project, an ice cream social, and a special musical performance by singer/songwriter and Paramount employee, David Zaragoza. “We all had an amazing time with the children at Shriners Hospital; it has had such a positive impact in our lives.” Says Aimee Manzo, Paramount employee and event organizer.  Full Article

Paramount celebrated the special event with the opening and expansion of its new facility, BellaTierra in Roseville. BellaTierra is a beautiful new office building with more than 32,000 square feet that houses the entire Sacramento-based mortgage banking operation. “Our team used to be spread out in four different office buildings,” said Hayes Barnard, owner of Paramount Equity Mortgage. “To have our entire staff under one roof is a huge accomplishment for us and a major benefit to our business.”

ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Business owners, friends and supporters of Kevin Johnson for mayor, gathered on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 for an election reception for Kevin Johnson. Sid Dunmore Jr., Hayes Barnard and Mike Alizadeh hosted the special evening at Bella Tierra Business Park, the corporate office of Paramount Equity Mortgage. The evening was filled with great fun and live entertainment, battle-of-the-bands-style!  Supporters also enjoyed fresh and delicious food and wine prepared by CRUSH 29.

CLOSING LOANS AND LENDING A HELPING HAND
This October, Paramount Equity Mortgage presented a check for $23,000 to Dr. Ernie Bodai, CEO of CureBreastCancer Inc. to help find a cure for breast cancer. Funds for this charity were raised during the month of May, where Paramount donated $50 from every closed loan toward the cause.  The check was presented to Dr. Bodai at Sacramento Business Journals’ annual event “Woman in Business Expo”.

ROSVILLE, Calif. – Sixty-three Paramount Equity Mortgage employees in Sacramento, Seattle and Portland took to the streets this summer to walk in support of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. “Each one of these employees has been personally touched in some way by the devastation of breast cancer, and they joined together today to support this amazingly important cause,” said Michele Magee, vice president of marketing for Paramount Equity Mortgage.
